Ecorustics
Redesigning landing page layout
Ecorustics is a startup that specializes in renting out accommodations on the portugese countryside.
The project was a ground up re-design of the webpage with the landing page as a priority. The goal was to implement a design where the UI and user interaction was in line with current industry standards for renting accommodations.
Process
With very limited user data available and with the end goal of reaching an industry standard it was insentivised by the product owner to lean heavily into competitor analysis and UX heuristics.
Competitor analysis resulted in finding reoccuring key elements between similar sites and applying these elemets in the new design for Ecorustics. This streamlines recognition so that user can focus on the unique selling point of the product rather than learning an unfamiliar functionality.
Applying new design
With sketches on the new desing presented and apporoved by the product owner we built a desing system and converted our LoFi-sketches into a HiFi prototype. This would then be used as reference for implementation.
